New International Constitutional Law and Administration Spring School

NICLAS

 

The University of Sofia ‘St. Kliment Ohridski’, Faculty of Law and the European Academy of Legal Theory (Frankfurt am Main/Brussel) are organizing the New International Constitutional Law and Administration Spring School (NICLAS). The school will take place from 23 to 26 March 2020 at the premises of the University of Sofia ‘St. Kliment Ohridski’ in Sofia, Bulgaria.

 

Prominent professors from leading European universities will be giving lectures in the framework of the New International Constitutional Law and Administration Spring School (NICLAS). Here is the list of the courses:

The New International Constitutional Law and Administration Spring School (NICLAS) combines lectures and seminars thus offering both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. All lectures and seminars will be held in English.

The students who have successfully participated in all lectures and seminars will receive a double certificate of participation issued by the University of Sofia ‘St. Kliment Ohridski’, Faculty of Law and the European Academy of Legal Theory (Frankfurt am Main). NICLAS will be an elective module for the students who are enrolled in the LLM program in Legal Theory of the European Academy of Legal Theory.

 

Application requirements

 

The applicants for the New International Constitutional Law and Administration Spring School (NICLAS) should be:

  • students in Bachelor or Master Degree or PhD students in the field of social sciences and humanities. Members of the academia (researchers, lecturers etc.) as well as practicing lawyers or members of other professions related to the topic of the school may also apply.
  • compulsory requirement is the good knowledge of English language.
  • During the selection preference will be given to students, PhD students or members of the academia who are working in the field of law and have a good command of English language (B2 or higher level)

 

Application term

 

The applications for participation in the New International Constitutional Law and Administration Spring School (NICLAS) must be submitted to the Academic Director of NICLAS and vice dean of the University of Sofia ‘St. Kliment Ohridski’, Faculty of Law prof. Deadline for submission of the applications is 15 January 2020.

The students of the University of Sofia ‘St. Kliment Ohridski’, Faculty of Law and of the European Academy of Legal Theory are exempted from paying the 150 Euro fee. All other participants must pay the participation fee of 150 Euro on a bank account of the University of Sofia which will be communicated to the selected participants. This fee covers only the education. It excludes all other expenses (e.g. travel and accommodation expenses, meals etc.).

 

The approved candidates will be informed until 30 January 2020.
